Kenneth C. Tiffany
Ken was the Owner and an Executive Officer serving as Vice President of Briegan Construction Services, Inc. dba Briegan Concrete Constructors through the time of purchase by Baker Construction Enterprises, Inc in 2018. Under his guidance and leadership, Briegan Concrete Constructors established itself into one of the area’s leading and most respected concrete subcontractors. Today, Ken oversees new business development, strategic growth, planning and resource allocation, recruitment, and overall company operations.
During his 40-year career, Ken has held a variety of leadership positions within the construction and concrete construction industry, spanning the areas of ownership, operations, project estimating, project management and field operations. He holds General Contractors Licenses in the states of North Carolina and Virginia and has a BS degree in Construction from Utica College of Syracuse University.
A New York State native, Ken and his wife, Eileen have been married for 34 years and lived in North Carolina for 28 years. They have two adult daughters, Meegan 31 and Brienne 27. When not working Ken enjoys spending time at their horse farm in upstate New York, shooting clays, upland hunting, snow skiing and water sports.
Roy Lee Dunn Jr.
Regional Operations Manager
A native to Eastern NC, Roy started his career in construction in 1992 working as a general contractor before beginning his passion in concrete as a concrete subcontractor.
As one of the co-founders of Briegan Construction Services, Inc. established in 2002 and operating as Briegan Concrete Constructors, Roy operated as the Vice President of Field Operations until the acquisition of the company by Baker Construction Enterprises Inc. in 2018. His main role was to direct the day to day operations of the field and coordinate the scheduling and deliveries of materials, equipment, and concrete pumps to and from the projects.
Roy currently lives in Bailey, North Carolina with his wife Tammy of 18 years. They have two adult sons, Lee and Mark, who both are currently employed by Briegan Concrete.
Raleigh Operations Manager
Jackson Phillips manages the operations for our Raleigh, North Carolina region. Day to day responsibilities include oversight of scheduling, coordinating, accounting, and estimating.
Born and raised in West Lafayette, Indiana, Jackson earned a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Purdue University. After graduating in 2007 he moved to Apex, North Carolina where he joined Briegan Concrete Constructors, Inc. Since joining he has been heavily involved in all aspects of the business.
When not working Jackson is spending time with his wife Julie and two sons, James and Jack.
Charlotte Operations Manager
Prior to joining Briegan Concrete in 2014, he was managing high profile projects, and designing large scale concrete structures in sought after destinations throughout several countries in the Middle East.
Hamza has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and over 13 years of experience, mainly in building concrete structures. He also speaks several languages.
A Middle Eastern native, Hamza received American Citizenship in 2016. He now resides with his wife, Shana, and their three children in South Carolina.
Director of Safety
Jamie Czuba has been with Briegan Concrete for five years, and he has been in construction for 22 years. Starting his career as a carpenter, Jamie worked up the construction ranks to the superintendent position and when given the opportunity to move into safety and health area of the business Jamie then worked his way up to the Director of Safety level.
Jamie holds the Manager of Environmental Safety and Health, and Construction Manager of Environmental Safety and Health from North Carolina State. Jamie Czuba is an instructor for OSHA, and American Red Cross. Jamie is also a North Carolina Defensive Driving Instructor for the Safety and Health Council of North Carolina. Over the years Jamie has developed a respected working relationships with the OSHA’s consultative services division and general contractors safety departments across the state. Jamie also has served on the American Society of Concrete Contractors safety committee.
Jamie Czuba was born in Syracuse NY, and moved to North Carolina with his wife, Patty in 1997. He has a daughter and son. Jamie served in the United States Air Force, volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America, and teaches bible studies with his church.
