Our Foundation

 

Rapid Growth

Briegan Construction Services, Inc. dba. Briegan Concrete Constructors was formed in 2002 and incorporated in 2003. Briegan was started with two employees in the office and 5 full-time employees in the field performing cast in place retaining walls, head and wing walls, box culverts and small building foundation projects. Through the years, we grew rapidly, and in 2017 Briegan employed 265 employees and had developed strong bonding and banking relationships bidding on projects up to $8.5 million in size. During this growth, Briegan built their bottom line and assets owning over forty pieces of “yellow iron,” two concrete pumps, tractors, trailers and a large inventory of forming equipment.

 

The Purchase of Rebarco, Inc.

In May of 2015, Briegan purchased the assets of Rebarco, Inc. and re-incorporated the “Rebarco Division” as Rebarco Formwork, Inc. Rebarco was once the predominant concrete formwork and reinforcing steel placement company in the Raleigh area. Due to the amount of storage area required after the purchase of Rebarco, Briegan purchased the Rebarco office and storage yard from Mr. Sonny McEver, (the founder of Rebarco, Inc.) and moved our operation from Apex, NC to the Garner/Clayton area.

 

Backed by Baker Construction Enterprises

On July 1, 2018, Briegan Construction Services, Inc., dba: Briegan Concrete Constructors was purchased by Baker Construction Enterprises, Inc. and now operates as Briegan Concrete, LLC. Now with the resources of Baker behind us, Briegan’s growth potential is unlimited. We recently opened offices in Charlotte and Wilmington, NC. In 2020-2021 Briegan plans to open offices in South Carolina and Southern Virginia.

Team Building Through Service

Organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Wreaths Across America, Toys for Tots, Duke Children and Make a Wish have offered many opportunities for team building through service.

 

Financial Support

Briegan proudly supports worthy causes that are dedicated to keeping our communities safe, healthy, and educated. Some of these organizations include the Alzheimer’s Association, Wounded Warrior, Salvation Army, Raleigh and Durham Rescue Missions.
